Atlanta, Georgia Holidays: Notable Neighbourhood Attractions
Atlanta, Georgia, is such a big city (the largest in the state) and bursting with unique neighbourhoods, each with its own vibe and notable attractions. On my recent holiday, I was pleased to take in so much of the metropolitan but Southern city, with its modern, diverse and artistic flair seen throughout its architecture, parks, attractions and restaurants.
Florida’s Lower Keys: Bahia Honda, Big Pine Key and Key West
There’s simply nothing like the tropical island feel of the Florida Keys. This chain of various-sized islands beckons visitors from around the world, especially the Lower Keys including Bahia Honda State Park, Big Pine Key and, of course, the famous Key West. The Florida Keys are a must-see vacation destination that you must tour on your next visit to Florida.
The Golden Isles: Culture and History
It was already dark when I started driving to the Golden Isles off the southeastern coast of Georgia, so I couldn’t anticipate what I would discover in the morning – but I awoke to find gorgeous landscapes which were just breathtaking. My stay was filled with treasures which invited me to delve deeper into its history. The Golden Isles consists of four islands – St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Little St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island, as well as the mainland city of Brunswick. I spent my time exploring the historical sites on St. Simons Island, the largest of the four.
The Golden Isles, Georgia: Luxury and Relaxation
Georgia’s Southeastern Coast in the U.S. is still a hidden secret that most people don’t know about – and neither did I. But that changed drastically when I recently visited the gorgeous Golden Isles. The group of islands consists of St. Simons Island, Little St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island and the mainland city of Brunswick. Reminiscent of the landscape described in the novel “Gone with the Wind,” I especially noticed the large oak trees covered with hanging Spanish moss everywhere. The splendid resorts and glorious beaches on these islands also offer many ways to indulge and relax.
